Choosing to undertake an MBA can feel like a leap of faith.
MBA programmes are rarely cheap, and so prospective MBA students need to not only think about the financial sacrifice ahead of them, but also time spent studying as a whole.
In October, TopMBA will be hosting the webinar ‘MBA and beyond: different career paths available to an MBA grad’ to show prospective MBA students the array of possibilities that open up with an MBA.
Topics and themes set to be discussed will include the new employability landscape, what MBA grads can do with their MBA degree, and unique roles and career paths – taking a closer look at roles outside the traditional sphere of consultancy and management for example. .
The webinar will be a round-table conversation that will give an overview of the MBA and the different types of MBA career paths students can take, but most importantly, the webinar will help you decide whether an MBA is worth it or not. Furthermore, they will touch upon what it is that employers are really looking for, as well naming the companies that hire MBA grads including Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley, Northern Trust etc.
If you’d like to find out more about different career paths available after an MBA, this webinar will take a look at specialised careers including entrepreneurship as well as non-traditional career choices like teaching.
Many prospective MBA students wonder whether an MBA or a specialised masters will be best for them, and so the panellists will discuss the pros and cons of both degree programmes, as well as the importance of networking to get you where you want to be post-graduation.
